What is your opinion? Do you agree with this statement? | |
Most teachers think that all subjects have to be taught since they are equally useful whereas other teachers don’t agree.
I think that all subjects can’t be equally useful. First of all, students usually know what they want to be even in Primary School, which means that the subjects that are connected to their future specialty are more useful. Second, the word “useful” can’t have an objective meaning. Things that are useful for some people can be absolutely useless for others.
At the same time there are teachers who say that it’s very important for each student to study every subject at school as if it was his future specialty. Life is interesting and a person never knows what job he will have to do.
In my opinion these teachers have a point. There are a lot of examples when people thought they would be, say, a doctor but ended up as engineers. Nevertheless, it’s more an exception than a rule. It’s difficult to change the mentality. It’s usually either technical or humanitarian.
In conclusion, I’d like to say that if we weigh all the facts that support the usefulness of all subjects at school against the ones that support a huarache of usefulness, we’ll see that the facts that support huarache outweighs those against.

All school subjects are equally useful for children.
School education has always been a topical issue both for parents and children. Some of them believe that subjects such as maths and their native languages should be given priority even if it is at the expense of other subjects, while other people are convinced that all subjects are equally important.
In my view, all school subjects are not only important, but absolutely vital for receiving a well-rounded education. Under no circumstances should educators disregard such subjects as art, music or nature study as they help children to develop different abilities. What’s more, getting acquainted with many disciplines at school will, in all probability, help pupils to find their vocation.
On the other hand, some people believe that singing or drawing are entertaining activities rather than serious subjects, therefore, they think that should be optional. Furthermore, they claim that, if children display a natural aptitude for a particular subject, they should attend special clubs in their spare time.
However, I firmly believe that school education should not only provide children with some basic skills, but also teach them how to think outside the box and look at things from a different perspective; and in order to develop these skills, children should be taught a wide range of subjects. What’s more, according to numerous research, those children who study music or do art perform better at other subjects, such as maths and literature.
To summarize, it is in society’s best interests to teach children many different subjects so that they become well-rounded, versatile people.

Nowadays pupils study more than ten subject in school. Every teacher think that his lessons are very important. But it is really that all subject will be necessary in life . In this essay I am going to express my opinion and criticize my opponents.
I personally think, that not everything subject are useful. I think so because,firstly,if pupils has not propensity for engineering sciences,then studying for example physics will be for him waste of time. Secondly,if you will try to get on well in all subject you will must do a lot of homework for this reason you will have less time for sports activities and relaxation.
But there are people who think differently. They think, that every subject develop useful skills and abilities. In modern world very important be comprehensively developed person. Actually, they are sure that, if a child learn only humanitarian science it would be difficult for him, if he decided to get medical education.
However I can not support their point of view,because pupils who special emphasis place on discipline which like them achive more sucess.
In conclusion I would like to crown that I has just written. It is very difficult get on well in all subject in last year of study,because you should prepare for exams and focus your attention on definite discipline,which need for admission to university.

According to the survey made by Russian psychologists children at school must study too many subjects. Without doubt, it is useful for being intelligent but it has to be said that not only children cope with requirements which are made by school teachers.
From my first-hand experience, I would like to underline that when I studied I enjoyed studying biology, chemistry, physics, geometry and many other subjects including physical education. However, in my last year beside doing lessons I had to prepare hard to the exams which were required by the university where I was going to study in the future and as a result I felt under pressure . That’s why I think that students should learn in the last year only subjects which will be necessary for getting higher education.
On the other hand, eighty percent of teachers want all subjects to be compulsory during all period of schooling. They are sure that all these subjects are integral part of education and play a great role in developing intelligence in children. The other reason is that students can change mind in choosing career. For example, if a child learn only humanitarian sciences it would be difficult for him if he decided to get medical education or technician. In other words, if they learn all sciences it is easier for them make choice at any time to find out what is more interesting to them.
I strongly believe that learning all subjects are important and obviously enlarge one’s scope. Although educational authorities must simplify method of teaching of subjects in order to make them less stressful.

на протяжении нескольких лет ученики изучают множество предметов в школе: математика,литература,иностранный и русский языки, химия, физика. многие ученики задаются вопросом: «все ли предметы пригодятся в их жизни?». Ответ на этот вопрос не будет однозначным.с одной стороны, все науки равны между собой и полезны. Например, мы не можем полноценно изучить обществознание, если мы не будем знать курс истории. Конечно же, даже если мы будем знать все естественные науки нам так же будут необходимы гуманитарные. Только тогда можно стать образованным человеком и хорошим специалистом в своей будующей профессии.
Но с другой стороны, зачем человеку изучать 3 урока физкультуры в неделю,если ему просто необходимы углубленные знания по химии? Так же я не считаю,что мы нуждаемся в 3 уроках английского языка, хотя мне нравится изучать его. Тем более находясь в физико — химическом классе мы имеем только 1 урок биологии и географии и 3 урока литературы . Где справедливость?

For several years, students learn many subjects in school: math, literature, foreign and Russian languages, chemistry, and physics. Many students ask: «Do all things useful in life?». The answer to this question will not be straightforward.
On the one hand, all the sciences are equal and helpful. For example, we can not fully explore the social science, if we do not know the course of history. Of course, even if we know all the science we also need to be human. Only then can become an educated man and a good specialist in his profession buduyuschey.
To summarize, I can be agreed that all items are equally useful, but a person needs to learn more in-depth articles that will actually be necessary in his profession. Not all the subjects taught in school, will be equally useful.

At school children are supposed to learn many subjects. Most of them are compulsory, that is why boys and girls often make a stand against them and say they want to choose subjects on their own.
In my opinion, children should not be allowed to choose subjects to learn. Firstly, schoolboys and schoolgirls are too young to understand which subjects they really need. Instead of mathematics, physics, languages they may prefer easier subjects such as physical education, safety of living, geography. After finishing school, the chances are that children will want to enter a technical university to become engineers, but it will be impossible for them to do because they will not know mathematics and physics, and they will not be able to pass the exams. Secondly, school must give children comprehensive knowledge so that they become more adapted to many-sided real life.
But there are people who are convinced that children should be given more freedom in choosing what they want to learn. Children are declared to be independent beings and free to express their will. No one has the right to dictate his or her will on them.
Nevertheless, I cannot agree with the foregoing statement, because I strongly believe that people must control their will and be responsible for their decisions. Due to their age, young people are not yet ready to answer for what they decide, so they need reasonable guidance of grown-ups.
To sum it up, all children must attend school and learn as many subjects as possible on a compulsory basis.
